In most cases, you do not need a separate, free in‑person consultation before booking.
Before you book, you should be able to work out whether my treatments and style are right for you by:
Looking at the images on my website and Google profile
Reading the blogs (including how I work and who my treatments are best suited for)
Checking the FAQs and healing information
These resources explain my approach, the results I specialise in, and what to expect before, during and after treatment.
If you decide to go ahead, the next step is to request a booking and pay a £150 deposit. This deposit is part of a paid process that includes:
Health and suitability assessment
Reviewing your photos (where needed)
Professional advice and treatment planning
Preparation and posting of a patch test
Providing and assessing your medical and consent forms
Any necessary phone or message‑based clarification
Because all of this takes considerable time and expertise, I no longer offer free consultations (in person or online). The consultation and assessment are now built into the paid booking process, rather than being a separate free service.
At the actual appointment, the tools, techniques and approach will be chosen specifically for your skin type, age and characteristics. You will be presented with a meticulous drawing and mapping of your brows/eyeliner/lips, and you will be able to participate in every step of refining the shape and placement before any pigment is applied.
For this reason, a separate in‑person consultation is not usually necessary.
Once your booking request is approved, you’ll automatically receive an email and a text message reminding you to review the terms and conditions and to pay your £150 deposit. Paying the deposit confirms that you have read and understood these terms, including the 48‑hour cancellation and reschedule policy.
You may reschedule once, up to 48 hours before your appointment, without losing your deposit. You may cancel up to 48 hours before your appointment, bearing in mind that a £60 administration and consultation fee will be deducted from the deposit. This fee covers the consultation, communication about scheduling, provision and assessment of paperwork, and patch test preparation and postage.
If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment, the deposit is forfeited and a new deposit will be required to secure a future booking.
Just a reminder that your appointment is only fully confirmed once the £150 deposit and signed client forms have been received. I work between different clinics and organise my family schedule around bookings, so if the deposit is not received at least 5 days before the appointment (or, where specifically agreed, no later than 48 hours before the appointment), your slot will be automatically released to another client.
Thank you for your understanding and for respecting this policy.
Touch-ups are not included in the initial price and are charged separately at £150 per hour. The initial price reflects the time and care invested in your first treatment—including the phone consultation, assessment, paperwork, and personalised advice. I dedicate extra time to understanding your goals and preferences, which means your first appointment is a detailed, unrushed process that begins well before you arrive.
Unlike many providers, I do not restrict touch-ups to within 12 weeks, as they are not always necessary for achieving natural, subtle results. Many clients don’t require a touch-up for 6, 8, or even 12 months, which helps prevent oversaturation and keeps your initial treatment price lower. When a touch-up is needed, it’s a straightforward, one-hour session—since I already have records of your skin characteristics and the pigments used. Some clients may need two sessions initially to build up enough colour, depending on their skin and desired effect, but for most, a touch-up is not needed for several months.
Eyebrows (Nano-brows, Microblading, Ombre) – Day-by-Day Healing
Day 1–2:
Brows will appear darker and more defined than the final result. Mild redness, swelling, or tenderness is normal.
Keep the area clean and dry; avoid touching or applying products unless advised.
Day 3–5:
Brows may begin to feel tight or itchy. Light flaking or scabbing can start—do not pick or scratch.
If recommended, you may apply a thin layer of pure aloe vera gel or fragrance-free balm once or twice daily.
Day 6–10:
Flaking or peeling continues. Brows may look patchy as they heal—this is normal.
At this stage, the enhancement is very likely to go through a “pigment ghosting” phase, where new skin cells form and cover the hair strokes, lips, eyeliner or scar tissue/skin pigmentation area worked on, right under the crust. This can give the impression that the pigment hasn’t taken/held or the enhancement is fading.
THIS IS A NORMAL PART OF HEALING—PLEASE DO NOT INITIATE CONTACT AT THIS STAGE. The pigment will begin to resurface over the next 4–6 weeks on average, and sometimes longer in case of mature, aged skin.
After Day 10:
Most flaking resolves. Colour begins to soften and settle as the skin completes healing.
Avoid sun exposure, swimming, hot baths, saunas, and heavy exercise for at least 7days.
Full results are visible after about 4 weeks, once healing is complete, though pigment may continue to reveal itself for up to 6 weeks or more.
Eyeliner – Day by Day Healing. What to Expect
Immediately after treatment, eyes may feel slightly swollen or tender; colour appears bold.
Swelling typically occurs the following morning, and subsides within 1–2 days.
Mild dryness or flaking along the lash line is normal as the skin heals.
Avoid rubbing, eye makeup, or harsh cleansers for at least a week.
Colour will soften, settle and will keep re-surfacing over 2–4 weeks.
Avoid swimming, saunas, and direct sun exposure during healing (at least 7days).
Lips (Lip Blushing, Lip Outline Blend in, Lip Semi-Permanent Makeup) – Healing Process
Lips will appear brighter and more intense immediately after treatment, with some swelling.
Swelling usually reduces within 24–48 hours.
Light flaking or peeling is common as lips heal (days 3–7).
At this stage, the enhancement may go through a “pigment ghosting” phase, where new skin cells form and cover the hair strokes, lips, eyeliner or scar tissue/skin pigmentation area worked on, right under the crust.
Avoid picking, hot drinks, spicy foods, and makeup on the lips until healing is complete.
Colour fades and softens over 1 week, and over further 3-5 weeks reveals the final shade.
The colour may continue to resurface and settle for up to twelve weeks after treatment.
Use only recommended ointments or balms during healing.
Can I message you if I feel unsure during healing?
There is a certain level of reassurance I am happy to offer, but there are clear limits.
Your treatment fee covers:
Initial phone call consultation
Images assessment
Documents provision and medical assessment
Patch test preparation and postage
Admin
Additional communication
The creative and technical work of the procedure itself
Detailed and individualised aftercare instruction at the end of the treatment
It does not include daily messaging or ongoing step‑by‑step guidance throughout normal healing.
Because of this, I ask that you:
Adhere to aftercare instructions carefully
Refer to the healing guide provided via e-mail, FAQs and blog first
Allow the full 4–6 week healing period before assessing the result or seeking reassurance about normal changes
If you suspect a medical issue such as an infection, your first contact should always be your GP, who can examine you in person. I am not able to diagnose or manage medical conditions via messages or photos, and in any such situation I will refer you back to your GP.
Infections, when they occur, are almost always the result of bacteria being introduced after the treatment – for example from everyday objects such as mobile phones, or by touching or picking the area with unclean hands.
My treatments are carried out under strict hygiene conditions, using single‑use equipment and appropriate protective dressings, so the risk of infection from the procedure itself is extremely low.
These boundaries help me protect my time and energy so I can continue to provide safe, high‑quality, focused treatments for every client.

When do I pay the deposit?
The deposit must usually be paid no later than 5 days before your appointment.
In rare cases, and only if agreed in advance, the deposit may be paid up to 48 hours before the appointment.
If the deposit and paperwork are not completed by the agreed deadline, your appointment slot is automatically released to another client.
Why do you require a deposit?
The deposit reserves dedicated time in my diary for you, covers preparation of a patch test/post, administration (providing documents, assessment, consultation, patch test posting, and room costs in case of non arrival or late arrival, and helps keep the schedule available for all clients.
I also work between different clinics and have a family schedule to organise around your appointment. Each booking requires careful planning in advance, travel, and coordination. When a client delays the deposit until the last minute to keeps the option open not to attend, it affects not only my business but also my family and other clients who may be waiting for an appointment.
For this reason, I can only hold an appointment once the deposit is paid and your forms are completed. Appointment can be re-scheduled up to 48h before the planned appt. time. In case of a cancellation a £60 administration fee will be deducted from the deposit.
What happens if I don’t want to pay a deposit?
If you choose not to pay a deposit or complete the forms, I will not be able to confirm or hold an appointment for you. In that case, please do not expect that I will be waiting at the appointment time.
This policy is not personal; it is about mutual respect for time, preparation, and family commitments, and it helps me provide a reliable, professional service to every client.

Preparation and provision of medical/consent forms
Assessment of the forms once returned

Cancelling Your Appointment
If you cancel more than 2 days before your appointment:
£60 of your deposit is retained as the administration fee.
The remaining £90 will be refunded to you.
If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment:
You will lose the full £150 deposit, as this time is very unlikely to be filled by another client at such short notice.
Rescheduling Your Appointment
You may reschedule once, provided you give more than 2 days’ notice.
A £60 administration fee will still apply, as the work of consultation, forms and patch testing has already been carried out.

No, I do not offer mobile services for any permanent makeup treatments. Procedures like nano brows, microblading, lip blush, and eyeliner tattoo must be performed in a licensed, controlled clinic environment. This ensures strict hygiene, proper sterilisation, and the safest possible conditions for every client. Mobile setups cannot meet the professional standards required for your safety and the quality of your results.
Mobile services are not permitted because of the high risk of infection and cross-contamination outside a dedicated clinic. Proper lighting, equipment set up, and a sterile environment are essential for safe, precise, and lasting results. For your health and peace of mind, always choose a specialist who works from a licensed, insured premises.
Before your permanent makeup procedure, it’s important to observe specific waiting periods after certain treatments, therapies, or the use of products that can affect your skin or blood consistency. This helps ensure optimal results and reduces the risk of complications.
Treatments & Products Requiring a 4–6 Week Wait:
Chemical peels and laser treatments (including IPL): Wait at least 4–6 weeks, as these can increase skin sensitivity and affect pigment retention.
Retinoids (Retin-A, Retinol, Vitamin A products): Discontinue use close to the area 4–6 weeks before your appointment; these can alter skin texture and healing
Accutane: Wait a minimum of 6 months to 1 year after completing Accutane, as it significantly affects skin healing.
AHA products (glycolic, lactic, salicylic acids): Avoid for 4 weeks prior to treatment.
Botox and cosmetic fillers: First time clients in particular should wait for at least 2–4 weeks after injections in or near the brow area to allow settling and ensure proper brow shaping
Treatments & Products Requiring a 1 Week Wait or Less:
Eyebrow waxing, threading, or tinting: Complete these at least 3–7 days before your appointment.
Vitamin E and fish oil (Omega 3) supplements: Stop taking these 1 week prior, as they thin the blood, speed up skin turnover and affect the retention.
Blood-thinning medications: Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil), and niacin (B3) for 24–72 hours before treatment (always consult your doctor before stopping any prescribed medication).
Alcohol and caffeine: Avoid for at least 24 hours before your appointment to minimise bleeding.
Sun exposure/tanning: Avoid intense sun or tanning beds for at least 1–4 weeks prior.
Strenuous exercise: Avoid heavy sweating or intense activity for at least 24h before your procedure.
Following these guidelines helps ensure your skin is in the best condition for microblading, promotes better pigment retention, and reduces the risk of complications. Your microblading artist may provide additional pre-care instructions tailored to your skin type and medical history.
You may be disqualified from some of. the treatments within microblading, nano eyebrows, lip blushing, or permanent eyeliner if you have any of the following:
Uncontrolled diabetes
Bleeding disorders
Active skin infections
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
History of keloid scarring
Current use of Accutane
Current use of blood-thinning medications
Always share your full medical history and current medications with your artist as part of the consultation process.
Clients often worry about:
Pain during the procedure
Fear of unnatural or harsh results
Healing process and aftercare
Safety and hygiene
Correcting previous work
My approach is to address each concern empathetically, referencing my experience and focusing on the participatory, unrushed process that defines my service.
My step-by-step protocols:
Pain Management: Many clients are concerned about pain. I use gentle techniques and high-quality numbing products to maximize comfort. Most describe the sensation as mild discomfort, and I check in with you throughout."
Natural Results: My philosophy is to create subtle, age-appropriate enhancements. We work together on the design, and I never rush the process. My background in fine arts and 16 years of experience means I specialise in natural, elegant results." I strongly encourage you to read more about this topic on my Blog.
Healing & Aftercare: I provide detailed aftercare instructions tailored to your skin type. I’ll explain what to expect at each stage—initial darkness, flaking, pigment ghosting phase, and the final, softer result.
Safety & Hygiene: Your safety is paramount. I use only Reach-compliant pigments and sterile, single-use tools. My training includes advanced techniques for sensitive and mature skin.
Corrections: If you have previous work, I’ll assess it carefully. That is why I request images as a first step of our communication. Corrections are gradual and realistic, and I’m always transparent about the process and possible complexity. Because of my fine arts background, I can use advanced color techniques to reshape and refine your results—sometimes achieving what others cannot. I’ll explain the complexity and nuances at every stage, so you understand what’s possible and what to expect. Many technicians simply cover up with another layer of color over the existing one, but I approach each correction artistically for the most natural outcome. For more in-depth information, I’ve written a dedicated blog post on corrections, which I strongly recommend you visit and read.
Healing process-Excessive fading:
Excessive fading of lip blushing, permanent eyeliner, with nano eyebrows and microblading in particular is a common concern, especially during the initial healing period. Many clients experience a “ghosting” phase, where the pigment appears to disappear or lighten significantly before gradually returning as the skin heals. This is a normal part of the process for many, though not everyone will experience it. For more details about fading, pigment retention, and the healing journey, please see the special in-depth FAQ here. [Read more ➔]
