Natural nano brows, microblading and ombré/powder brows in West London

Nano Eyebrows - Hyper-realistic Brows - Microblading - Ombre - Mixed techniques

With 16 years experience in providing bespoke, specialist permanent eyebrows, ranging from nano natural brows, Korean style microblading, soft powdered brows permanent makeup in West London's Chiswick and nearby Kew area of Richmond, I specialise in creating very natural and elegant permanent eyebrows tattoo designs. I take particular interest in finding and working with an inherent potential that my client's face provides, in especially when working with microblading or nano brows machine on a mature skin. It often requires much more time, careful planning, as well as good control of the tool and depth of application in order to achieve a very subtle but lasting result, and for my clients to experience minimal down time.

This treatment offers a wide variety of techniques and tools that can be used on young and supple as well as mature, lacking elasticity or oily skin, so it is always adhered to individual needs and personal style, however subtle or bold.

Whether we attempt to only retrieve the youthful look and add hair colour density, or create a statement eyebrow in-tune with the latest beauty trends, I offer my expertise in accommodating for everyone; encompassing all age groups, skin colours and skin characteristics. Every enhancement is carefully pre-drawn and once we agree on the best shape, placement, colour choice and style, we proceed to deposit the pigment into a very shallow layer of the skin using high-end, quality pigments, needle cartridges and equipment.

NANO EYEBROWS / HYPER-REALISM

Natural Nano Brows closely mimic real eyebrows by design created using an electric machine pen operating single use cartridges, with nano size, very fine needles and specialist techniques, adjusted speed, angle and rotation rate.

This treatment is more suitable for mature skin, as it allows for a great control of the application depth, essential when working with considerably thinner, aging skin with lost firmness, as well as oily or mixed type skin.

Every appointment begins with a discussion regarding your expectations, your skin type, the techniques/tools and way optimising the chances for achieving a desired outcome.

MICROBLADING

Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow technique performed with a handheld, single-use pen fitted with a fine blade made up of tiny needles. Crisp hair-like strokes are created by gently gliding the blade across the surface of the skin, following the natural direction of your brow growth to mimic real hairs. It can also be done in a more uniform, “template-style” pattern, where the strokes are placed neatly side-by-side and flow in one consistent direction for a more standardised look.

Microblading is generally best suited to younger, less porous skin types, where it can heal with a slightly crisper, more defined hair-stroke finish.

OMBRE SHADING & MIXED TECHNIQUES

Semi-permanent eyebrows ombre shading technique can create a range of finishes — from a soft, powdery effect (often ideal for oily or mature skin) to a stronger, more defined look. It can also be designed as a gentle gradient, moving from more defined to barely-there “colour mist” shading.

Ombre brows are a great option if you’d like a clean, make-up-ready template to follow, or if you’re looking for a more saturated, high-definition result that creates a bolder, more polished makeup look.

Ombre brows shading can also be combined with nano brows and/or microblading to add a few hair strokes at the front of the brow and through the body for a more natural finish. This hybrid approach is especially useful when covering an old brow tattoo — particularly if there’s strong residual pigment, or if the existing shape is too narrow, too angular, or uneven/asymmetrical.

Specialist Permanent Eyebrows FAQ

A few quick answers about healing, technique choice and what to expect.

Q: Which is better for mature skin: nano brows, microblading or powder brows?

A: It depends on your skin and the finish you want. For many clients with mature, delicate or thinner skin, nano brows (machine method) can heal more softly and predictably. Powder/ombré brows can also be a great option if you prefer a gentle shaded effect. I’ll recommend the safest choice for your skin.

Q: What’s the difference between nano brows and microblading?

A: Microblading is a manual blade technique, while nano brows are created with a machine using fine needle cartridges. Both can look natural, but nano brows often allow for more control—especially when we’re aiming for a soft healed finish.

Q: Do nano brows look natural once healed?

A: Yes—when they’re designed for your face and done with a light, controlled approach. My aim is always a result that blends with your natural brow hair and looks elegant in real life, not harsh or “overdone”.

Q: Are powder/ombré brows too bold?

A: Not necessarily. Powder brows can be customised from very subtle to more defined. If you want a polished look without sharp edges, a soft ombré finish can be beautiful and very wearable.

Q: How long do permanent eyebrows last?

A: Longevity varies by skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, desired style and technique applied. Brows fade gradually over time, and most clients choose a refresh when they feel the colour has softened. I’ll give you realistic expectations based on your skin and the technique we choose.

Q: Will my brows change colour over time?

A: Pigment softens as it fades, and colour choice matters. I use high-quality pigments and careful colour selection to keep the result looking natural as it heals and wears.

Q: Is it painful, and what is the downtime like?

A: Sensation varies, but most clients find it manageable. Downtime is usually minimal, with some redness and a short healing period, which occasionally might extend slightly (e.g aging skin). I’ll explain what’s normal for your skin type and how to plan around healing during the appointment.

Q: I have sparse brows / uneven brows—can you still help?

A: Yes. Whether your brows are naturally sparse, have thinned over time, or are uneven, we can design a shape that restores definition while staying true to your features and expression.
